OpenAI’s DALL-E is receiving some upgrades that should make creating AI-generated masterpieces much simpler and fun! First, editing tools have been added to ChatGPT on both web and mobile platforms for DALL-E users; secondly, preset style suggestions to spark image creation can now help stimulate innovation as Android’s AI wallpaper prompts do.

DALL-E has evolved over the years, and recent updates appear to make it more user-friendly. DALL-E 3 introduced integration with ChatGPT which makes image prompt writing much simpler — just tell ChatGPT what your image prompt is and it will generate it automatically for you! Today’s update extends this by giving casual DALL-E users more ways of editing results within ChatGPT itself.

DALL-E 3’s style prompts appear to address one aspect of that dilemma for novice users: what should I make with this thing? Upon first glance, Sometimes a blank canvas is a little too blank, you know? – the new prompts offer something of a starting point and include woodcut, gothic, synth wave, and hand-drawn styles as choices you mouse over; selecting will add them to your prompt and allow you to think creatively as opposed to being left completely on your own creatively speaking.

Recently, OpenAI has taken steps to address one of the more immediate concerns surrounding AI image generation: trust. DALL-E 3 started adding visible watermarks and metadata denoting images generated by AI earlier this year.
